Ok, here it goes…

Well, I am a Brit born and bred Bangladeshi.. Iv grown up in East London all my life. I am the eldest child of 5, there fore I guess I have a lot of responsibility in my family, whom I love dearly.


Id like to think I am a hard working individual who strives to be the best or at least put my best into whatever I get involved in. I am known to be pretty adventurous and daring. I would say I am VERY ambitious and focus a lot on how I want my future to be when I have my own family (Inshallah).

I am a out going person and love to socialise with my friends and family. I like to make new friends, I mean, what’s the harm in making new friends in life hey? I can be quiet at times but then again I can be loud and active too, I guess it depends on the crowd I am with and the mood I am in.

I am the type of person who puts other people before myself. Its something I have done all my life. That doesn’t mean to say I don’t spoil myself now and then.


I have been in my current job for over 4 years now and I LOVE IT. It is a career path I have chosen for the rest of my life and would not do anything else ( I will tell you what I do at some stage).

The job I do is pretty hard at times and very exhausting, but on the other hand I also have the easy days. It’s a job that involves a lot of strength, physically and mentally. It is something I have had a passion to do ALL my life and Mashallah, after a lot of hard work I achieved it.

I work shifts at the moment and this involves early, late and night shifts, but then I have 4 days off to do whatever I desire. Maybe in the future, I will consider moving away from these shifts, but that all depends on what field I want to work in or if I want to go up the ranks.. (you have probably guessed my job title now)

In my spare time, I spend A LOT of the time in the gym ’pumping iron’ and doing a lot of physical work outs. I also go swimming regularly, so all in all I am a fitness FREAK.. Lol

I am very much into my handy work and love getting my hands dirty. When I get bored, I would grab my tool box and find something to do with it. I have done a lot of DIY work in the past few years for family and friends.


I want to learn about Islam more as it is obviously our religion and way of life and I go through phases where I am SOOOO interested in it and buy books to read, but then I just get diverted. That is the honest truth. BUT I want to learn more about our deen and way of life and inshallah I will find a partner that may assist me in learning more about Islam..

About My Match

I am a honest person there for I will honestly say that personality and looks do matter to me and are as equal. I mean if there is no attraction there, then some where along the line its not going to work..

I guess I want what any guy wants in a wife really. I am looking for someone who is like minded. Someone who enjoys going out and socialising with friends and family rather then sitting home. Not to say that spending evenings alone are not nice, because they are.

I am looking for someone from a decent upbringing. Someone who knows how to be a good companion and be a friend as well as a companion. Someone who is understanding and listens to me when I am down or I have something to say as I will happily listen to them when they are down etc.

I want to be able to start off as friends with this person and then build a firm and stable relationship which, inshallah, will last a life time.

Due to the job I do, hours will be a pain in the back side therefore I need someone to understand that and be able to accept it. That is one reason, deep inside, I would prefer someone that does a job similar to my own.

One thing I cannot stand are women that drink and smoke. I hate it. Yes I have smoked in my past, but not a MAJOR amount.. It makes you smell and its just disgusting.

I am looking for someone who is educated and possibly with professional career. I’m not overly fussed about wearing a hijab or not. I guess that’s personal preference.

All in all I just want a person who I can have a peaceful life with, and develop a life
